      Main Street Project<\/span><\/h1>\n

      \"The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.\" These words cannot be more true, however when it comes to the current administration, it is most often a stretch to apply. Their typical modus operandi is to focus on the \"shiny thing\" come hell or high water. Plans and schedules are not shared with the stakeholders, most likely because they are controlled by the contractor and have no penalties.\u00a0 In nearly every occasion there is no true opportunity for those stakeholders who will be inconvenienced to provide input. They are the best to offer mitigation suggestions to lessen their disruption. This has been the case with the Main Street project, and has been with past projects such as Mt. Tabor Road, McDonald Lane, or Slate Run Road.<\/h4>\n

        Post the plans and schedules on a regular basis<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

        Push for an ordinance to take back financial oversight from the appointed boards on large projects<\/h4>\n

        How to address the Main Street Debacle?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

        Unfortunately the business owners are carrying the brunt of the administration's failure on this project. At this point there is only one real solution - do everything possible to finish the project as soon as physically possible.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
